A pregnant woman who was r, passed away. Her baby, who was born in the bakery through an emergency caesarean section, is still in the hospital in critical condition, a spokesperson for the police confirmed to RTL Nieuws.

A baby was born in Bakery Risseeuw in Hulst on Monday morning, shortly after the mother went into cardiac arrest. The mother was resuscitated. Both she and the child were rushed to hospital, AD reports.

The pregnant woman became unwell in the bakery on Stationsweg around 10:30 a.m. Emergency services responded in large numbers. The mother was resuscitated and the baby was brought into the world through a caesarean section.

Angela Blakenburg was assaulted and left in the freezing cold while delivering newspapers in her home town of Hulst, Zeeland on Thursday morning. The perpetrator beat her hard on the head from behind and left her unconscious on the street, without even stealing anything, the 47-year-old woman said to newspaper AD.

No Surrender

The police arrested one of the top leaders of outlaw motorcycle gang No Surrender in his home in Hulst on Wednesday. The 41-year-old man is suspected of leading a criminal organization, the police said in a statement.

In addition to the arrest, the police also searched three addresses - the suspect's home, his company, and a bar where No Surrender club nights are held. Investigators hope to find supporting evidence and to gather information about criminal activities "in an organized context".

Another cyclist died after being hit by a car in the Zeeland town of Hulst on Monday evening. This is the second cyclist killed in a road accident in Hulst this week.

Monday's accident happened on Oud Ferdinandusdijk. The diver of the car was arrested. So far no information was released about the identity of the victim of the motorist.

The police in Hulst, Zeeland are looking for a driver involved in a hit-and-run accident on Sunday morning in which a 64-year-old cyclist from Belgium was killed. The Belgian man's family was informed. 

The accident happened around 10:45 a.m on Zandstraat in Hulst. The car involved was a gray Opel Vectra with Dutch license plates. A broken mirror was left behind at the scene of the accident. 

The police call on the driver of the car to come forward. Witnesses, or anyone who spotted a grey Opel Vectra with a missing side mirror, are also asked to contact the police.

Three Zeeland girls were arrested for distributing nude photos of high school students from different places in the province on social media, the police announced in a statement on Thursday.

The girls posted nude photos and videos, but also Photoshopped images in which they pasted the heads of fellow students on disfigured bodies. They did so using an Instagram account, which the police removed.

The police are looking for the perpetrators behind dozens right-wing extremist stickers found in several places in Hulst over the past month. According to the police, the stickers contain various types of images, "but they all have a racist or right-wing extremist nature".

A 90-year-old man was stuck in a ditch in Zeeland for 4 days. He is in good health, but just to be sure, he was taken to a hospital in Terneuzen for a checkup, according to the police.
