Second cyclist killed in accident in Zeeland town this week

Another cyclist died after being hit by a car in the Zeeland town of Hulst on Monday evening. This is the second cyclist killed in a road accident in Hulst this week.

Monday's accident happened on Oud Ferdinandusdijk. The diver of the car was arrested. So far no information was released about the identity of the victim of the motorist.

On Sunday morning a 64-year-old Belgian cyclist was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Zandstraat. The motorist is still at large.

A spokesperson for the police told NU.nl that there is no reason to think these two accidents are related.
