At least six underage boys were forced into prostitution by two men in the Utrecht neighborhood of Overvecht over the past years, the Public Prosecution Service confirmed to NU.nl after a report in De Telegraaf. Not all of the suspects' victims have been identified yet, and there may be hundreds of victims, the newspapers write.

A woman who jumped out of a 4th floor window with her 2-year-old child in Overvecht on Thursday night, called for help through that same window on Sunday, neighbors told the Telegraaf.
The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. at an apartment building on Othellodreef, near Utrecht Overvecht station. Both mother and child survived, but their current condition is unknown.

A woman and her 2-year-old child were both seriously injured in a fall from a 4th floor apartment in Overvecht on Thursday night. The woman jumped out of the window with the child in her arms, the police confirmed to the Telegraaf on Friday morning.
Mother and child were rushed to hospital. Their current condition is unknown. "It's a miracle that both survived", a police spokesperson said to the newspaper.

An 81-year-old woman was hit by a stray bullet while sleeping in her bed on Japuradreef in the Utrecht neighborhood of Overvecht just after midnight on Monday. The bullet was fired "probably with automatic firearms" in a shooting that left two other men injured, one of them seriously, the police said in a statement on Monday.
The elderly woman was "immediately transported to hospital and is doing well under the circumstances", the police said.

The police arrested two women and two men in connection with the death of an 58-year-old woman in Overvecht, Utrecht. The woman was found murdered in her home in Overvecht on October 26th. The suspects are the woman's two daughters and their husbands, AD reports.

The handwritten pages contain reports of tapped conversations and observations about a large drug case involving several members of the same Dutch-Moroccan family in Utrecht. The reports extensively discuss the trade of three men in the family. They also contain suspects' names, addresses, phone numbers and travel information.

On Tuesday morning the police arrested two suspects in connection with the murder of Hakim Chengachi in Utrecht on January 12th. Chengachi was gunned down in the doorway of his apartment building on Faustdreef in Overvecht.
The suspects, a 30-year-old man from Amsterdam and a 24-year-old man from Zaandam, were arrested in their home towns at 5:00 a.m. this morning. Their homes were searched, the police said in a statement. More arrests may follow.

On Saturday the police arrested two men in Huizen after a long car chase. The suspects had two automatic firearms in the car with them. Sources of newspaper AD claim that they were on their way to assassinate a man, after they shot and killed the wrong man last week.
The suspects were spotted on Faustdreef on Saturday night. The police found them suspicious and decided to pull their car over. Instead of pulling over, the men sped off and the police gave chase. They were eventually arrested in Huizen.
