The girl was allowed to explore the outdoors under the surveillance of its mother Naima.
Naima and male rhino Vungu were brought to the zoo in Rotterdam back in 2013. At the time, they were the first black rhinos to roam the zoo in over 50 years.
Rotterdam zoo visitors got a quite unusual show on Tuesday. A kudu - a type of antelope - attacked a giraffe. Videos of the attack show the kudu pushing the much larger giraffe over several times. The giraffe finally managed to rejoin the group of other giraffes, after which the kudu backed off.
The strange attack was witnessed by a large number of zoo visitors, according to RTV Rijnmond. A number of them filmed the kudu attack and posted it online.

Last year, more people have visited the city of Rotterdam than the year before. The number of hotel guests increased, in 2012, with 78,000 to 740,000. Also the number of overnight stays increased in 2012 with 2%.
This is shown by preliminary figures from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), reported Rotterdam Marketing on Tuesday.
“It is good that these figures show a rise again, however, the room rates are still under pressure. This results in a 20 percent lower income, compared to the top year 2008,” says Jan Rutgers, chairman of the Rotterdam Hotel Combination.
