Two Belgian police officers are accusing a suspect of attempted manslaughter after he repeatedly tried to force the officers off the road with his small truck during a chase. The suspect was eventually arrested in the Netherlands. A total of five people, excluding the driver, and all the equipment necessary for a cannabis plantation was found in the truck.

The Dutch police should follow the example of their Belgian colleagues and equip officers with so-called less-lethal-weapons. This weapon should be in addition to the existing firearm.

The Belgian police have arrested three suspects in connection with the ING ATM bombing in the Moerwijk shopping center in Breda Monday morning and the subsequent shootout with police in Belgium. According to the police, a great deal of damage was done to the building where the cash machine was located, but the perpetrators did not make off with any money.

A manhunt is underway in Oud-Turnhout in Belgium. The police are looking for heavily armed criminals who committed an ATM bombing on an ING Bank in the Moerwijk shopping center in Breda, Omroep Brabant reports. It is not clear whether the perpetrators managed to get away with any money. 

The Belgian police confirmed that the perpetrators fled to Belgium after the bombing and fired shots at the police with a Kalashnikov during there flight. They would not give the newspaper any further details. Belgian media reports that there are two perpetrators.

One of the two jihadists killed in the Belgian town of Verviers had a fake Dutch passport, reports Flemish broadcaster VRT. On Saturday, the broadcaster reported one of the jihadists to have been a Dutchman which was soon denied by the Dutch National Prosecutor's Office (OM).

The Belgian police shot two armed jihadists dead and arrested one in a Belgian city of Verviers late Thursday night. The armed men were part of a network which partly consists of returned rebel fighters from the Syrian Civil War. They were planning on attacking police stations and courthouses, according to Belgian police.
