Six caught in 2014 casino heist

The Belgian police arrested six men in connection with a casino robbery in Valkenburg and a jewelry store robbery in Eijsden, Zuid-Limburg, both in 2014, NOS reports. The casino robbery happened in the early hours of June 23rd, 2014. Five heavily armed men stormed into Holland Casino in Valkenburg and threatened staff and about 200 visitors with automatic weapons. They took off with a small amount in cash. The getaway car was fond burning in Liege. The Jewelry store robbery happened in April of that same year. The group forced their way into the store and fled with stolen jewelry only two minutes later. The car used in this crime was also later fount burnt out. The police arrested the six suspects on February 1st, but only announced it today. The suspects are all men from Liege, between the ages of 20 and 34 years.
