An autopsy performed on the body of Anja Schaap did not rule ot that she was killed in a crime, the police said on Monday. The 33-year-old woman disappeared from Katwijk on May 29th. Her body was found in the North Sea, off the coast of the Wadden Islands, nearly three weeks later.

The funeral for former Prime Minister Wim Kok will be held on Saturday, followed by a commemoration service in the Amsterdam Concertgebouw that same afternoon. Both services are for invited guests only, NU.nl reports.

Others who want to express their condolences can do so in an online condolence register. Letters and flowers are also welcome and can be sent to the funeral home. 

A few hundred Dutch flooded to the Laurentius- and Elisabeth cathedral in Rotterdam on Monday to say goodbye to former Prime Minister Ruud Lubbers, who passed away last week at the age of 78, NOS reports.

Lubbers' coffin was placed in a sea of flowers and some candles. Hundreds of people walked past the coffin to say farewell, and signed the condolence register.

Seventeen year old Mohammed Bouchikhi, who was killed in a shooting at an Amsterdam community center on Friday, will be laid to rest in Morocco. His family are expected to travel with his body to Morocco at the end of this week, Abdou Menebhi, who is in close contact with the family, said to RTL Nieuws.

According to Menebhi, the family is very sad, angry and feels powerless. The funeral in Morocco is a family tradition, he added.

Over a thousand people attended Amsterdam mayor Eberhard van der Laan's funeral in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam on Saturday afternoon, including Prime Minister Mark Rutte and historian Geert Mak, AD reports. Amsterdam residents said their final goodbyes to the mayor on Friday.

Former National Police Chief Gerard Bouman was buried in Rotterdam on Tuesday. Hundreds of police officers formed an honor guard along the route Bouman's coffin was taken, NOS reports.

Bouman died last week at the age of 64 from the consequences of a heart attack. 

Flags are hanging half mast in Hoevelaken on Tuesday. Murdered 14-year-old Romy Nieuwburg's funeral will be held this afternoon.

The funeral starts at around 3:00 p.m. Both the service and burial will be held in the presence of only her family and friends. Others who want to show their respects, can do so by lining the route of the funeral procession.

A funeral for Savannah Dekker will be held in her hometown of Bunschoten on Wednesday next week. Kok's coffin was carried by four young women in skimpy outfits. Champagne was served during the service. Friends and family ended the service with a last toast: "You were a top guy. You were a murder guy." and the lighting of firecrackers. PowNed filmed the funeral and posted it on YouTube on Friday.

A DNA investigation on the body of a baby boy found hidden in some bushes at Amsterdam's Sloterplas in June, revealed that the baby boy is most likely descended from North Africa and the northern edges of the Mediterranean sea, the police announced. The baby boy will be buried in Amsterdam on Monday.
