The police arrested a 15-year-old boy at Eindhoven Central Station on Sunday on suspicion that he stabbed an underage resident of the asylum center in Weert earlier in the day. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment, the police said in a statement.
The stabbing happened around 5:00 p.m. The boy stabbed the asylum center resident and then fled by train to Eindhoven. He was arrested at the station and taken to a police station for questioning.

The police found 11 stowaways, including a pregnant woman, in the back of a refrigerated truck on the A67 in Bladel on Thursday evening. The Polish truck driver called the police when he heard voices in his trailer, RTL Nieuws reports.
The stowaways spent two days in the back of the truck. Fortunately, the cooling element was not turned on. All eleven people are adults and were in good health.
Police arrested two suspects in connection with the kidnapping of a young woman from a train station in Eindhoven. A 31-year-old Alkmaar man was taken into custody on October 26, which police made public on Friday. A 45-year-old was also in custody according to police.
The victim was abducted and pulled into a car by two men in the early morning hours of May 27. She was then kept captive for hours in a house in Son en Breugel, where police say she was raped. When she was released hours later, she immediately called authorities, according to a police report.

The police arrested two 16-year-old boys from Eindhoven on suspicion of raping a 19-year-old woman at a bus station in the city in September.
The rape happened between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 23rd. The young woman was walking from the city center towards the Neckerspoel bus station when two boys started harassing her. She was raped near the emergency stairs at the station's bicycle parking. The perpetrators fled afterwards.

A police officer in Eindhoven got his car stuck in a layer of newly poured concrete on Thursday. He was driving on a closed construction site, where a bus stop's paving was being replaced, when he drove right into the concrete, Johan de Krom of the responsible contractor company De Krom B.V. said to Omroep Brabant.
"We just finished the job and put our van at the front of the concrete so that no one could get through, but that police car just drove around us", De Krom said. The contractor and his colleague pulled the stuck police car out with their van.

Six people were arrested in connection with a large investigation into organized cannabis cultivation in Noord-Brabant on Monday. The police also searched 16 properties in Tilburg, Goirle, Eindhoven and Kaatsheuvel.
According to the police, a Tilburg detective team got wind of the suspects while breaking down a number of illegal cannabis plantations. The partial collapse of a parking garage at Eindhoven Airport in May, was caused by a construction error, according to investigations carried out on behalf of Eindhoven Airport and construction company BAM. The floors of the parking garage, which was still under construction at the time of the collapse, were not strong enough, RTL Nieuws reports.
A 24-year-old teacher from Eindhoven, who was arrested in June for asking students to send him "dick pics" in exchange for higher grades, is also suspected of sexually abusing his 7-year-old nephew, the Public Prosecutor revealed in a pro-forma hearing in the court in Den Bosch on Friday, Omroep Brabant reports.
