On Wednesday the police raided a home on Heistraat in Eindhoven after receiving a report that the resident was trying to sell explosives on Marktplaats. In the home officers found grenades, an aircraft bomb and a rocket. The resident was arrested, Omroep Brabant reports.
The police responded to the home with a Defense explosive ordnance disposal team.
In total 40 pieces of ammunition were found in the home. Six grenades were potentially dangerous, and were detonated as a precaution. The rest were empty explosives or training material.
Eindhoven will get its first habitable 3D printed concrete house next year, the municipality of Eindhoven, Eindhoven University of Technology and the four companies involved announced on Wednesday. According to TU Eindhoven, this is the first 3D printed house in the world that people will actually live in.
Amsterdam is again the most unsafe municipality in the Netherlands, according to newspaper AD's crime meter for 2017. Common crime decreased across the Netherlands last year. The number of reported burglaries, theft, robberies and assaults fell by a total of 13 percent.
A Dutch-Polish drug gang was busted in a combined effort by the Dutch, Polish and German police. The Dutch police raided multiple places in the south of the Netherlands on April 16th and 17th and arrested seven suspects. Another seven suspects were arrested in Poland. They are all suspected of being part of a criminal organization involved in drug trafficking and dealing in chemicals intended for the production of synthetic drugs, the police said on Friday.

A man was shot in killed in the Eindhoven residential neighborhood Strijp on Thursday morning. A passerby found the victim in a car parked on Den Bult street and called the police around 8:00 a.m., AD reports.

The police found a total of 19 undocumented migrants on and around a parking lot on the A67 just south of Eindhoven during the early hours of Tuesday morning, ANP reports.

A woman was seriously injured at football club RKVV Brabantia in Eindhoven on Monday night when she fell from the stadium's stands. She fell several meters to the ground and was rushed to hospital by ambulance, Eindhovens Dagblad reports.

The truck was carrying sodium hydroxide, according to Eindhovens Dagblad. The accident happened just after 5:30 a.m. The truck, traveling from the direction of Eindhoven, crashed through the middle rail and toppled. A car then crashed into the truck, causing a leak.
A 37-year-old man from Eindhoven sustained multiple gunshot wounds in a shooting incident at a caravan camp in the city during the early hours of Sunday morning. The police launched an investigation. The perpetrator is still at large, Eindhovens Dagblad reports.
The shooting happened around 2:00 a.m. at a caravan camp on Kasteellaan. Responding police officers found blood, but no sign of victim or perpetrator. They alerted the hospitals in the area to keep an eye out for a gunshot victim.
