In addition to a jacket, more clothes were found that "almost certainly" belong to missing 25-year-old Anne Faber next to Amerfoortseweg in Huis ter Heide on Tuesday, police spokesperson Bernhard Jens confirmed. The police hope that they will be able to conclusively determine whether the clothes belong to the missing Utrecht woman today. Sniffer dogs are currently searching for other traces of the missing woman in the area where the clothing was found, AD reports.
Twenty Turkish police officers and soldiers are searching the hills around Silifke today for missing 21-year-old Joey Hoffmann from Haaksbergen. They are using specialist equipment and two sniffer dogs flown in from Ankara. The dogs are trained to sniff out bodies, AD reports.
The search started very early on Thursday morning, as the day is expected to get very hot in the afternoon.
A body was found in the Oostrand Park in Almere on Tuesday. Police officers were searching the park with sniffer dogs for a missing 17-year-old boy. The body has not yet been officially identified, but the police are "taking into account" that it may be the Almere teenager, the police said in a statement.
