Man hospitalized after early-morning attack in Noord-Brabant; police hunt suspect

A man was hospitalized with unknown injuries early Saturday after an attack in a residential neighborhood in Noord-Brabant, police said.

The victim was taken by ambulance to a hospital after being found injured at the scene, De Gelderlander reported. Authorities have not disclosed the nature or severity of his injuries.

Police launched a large-scale search in the area around 4 a.m., deploying multiple vehicles to comb through the neighborhood.

Despite the extensive search, the perpetrator has not yet been located, a police spokesperson said.
