Stabbing in Amsterdam home; two hurt, two arrested

A stabbing in a home in Amsterdam Oost on Friday morning left two people injured. Another two people were arrested, a police spokesperson confirmed to Het Parool.

The stabbing happened in a fourth floor apartment on H.J.E Wenckebachweg. When the police arrived they found two injured people and the apartment covered in blood, according to the spokesperson. Two uninjured men in the apartment were arrested.

The severity of the victims' wounds is unclear. One had to be brought outside by the fire department. Both were taken to hospital.

The police spokesperson told Het Parool that they have "no idea" what the circumstances around this incident were. All four people involved don't speak Dutch "or another language we speak".
