A stabbing in a home in Amsterdam Oost on Friday morning left two people injured. Another two people were arrested, a police spokesperson confirmed to Het Parool.

The stabbing happened in a fourth floor apartment on H.J.E Wenckebachweg. When the police arrived they found two injured people and the apartment covered in blood, according to the spokesperson. Two uninjured men in the apartment were arrested.

The severity of the victims' wounds is unclear. One had to be brought outside by the fire department. Both were taken to hospital.

A 35-year-old man from Purmerend was sentenced to 14 years in prison on Tuesday for raping three young women in Amsterdam over a period of four days early last year. The Public Prosecutor demanded 12 years in prison for what she called "unusually humiliating rapes", Het Parool reports.

The court did not impose psychiatric treatment on Mustafa A. because experts could not determine whether he suffered from a mental illness or delayed development.

The Public Prosecutor offered a 12,500 euro reward for the tip that leads to the arrest of a man suspected of raping three women in Amsterdam over the cause of four days. The rapes happened late in January on H.J.E Wenckebachweg, Maassluisstraat and Sloterplas.

The police released video footage and information about a sexual assault that happened just off a bike path on H.J.E. Wenckebachweg in Amsterdam during the early morning hours of January 28th. They hope that information from the public will lead to the perpetrator's arrest.
