Man killed in Amsterdam shooting

One man was killed in a shooting in Bijlmermeer in Amsterdam on Monday morning, the police report on Twitter. The shooting happened at around 5:30 a.m. at the Kikkenstein apartment building. The police are investigating at the scene and calling on witnesses to come forward. So far no information was released regarding the identity of the victim or the circumstances surrounding the shooting. According to the Telegraaf, local residents reported hearing multiple gunshots.
