Three Amsterdammers held in fatal Enschede shooting

Police investigating the fatal shooting of a man at a shopping center in Enschede, Overijssel arrested three Amsterdam men in connection with the violent crime. A bullet struck the 24-year-old man on Zonstraat at about 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday. “The victim died in the hospital shortly afterwards,” the police stated. Three men, aged 27, 28 and 30, were taken into custody early Thursday morning. No further details about the men or their victim has been released. An “extensive investigation” into the shooting is ongoing, police said. They have asked anyone with information to contact them immediately.
