In court H. acknowledged that he was speeding when his speedboat crashed into another boat on August 2nd, 2014, but denies that he was drunk and that his speedboat did not have sufficient lighting
The captain of the speedboat involved in the fatal collision on the Vinkeveense Plassen early in August has been released. The speedboat rammed into a sloop, leaving two of the sloop's four passengers dead.
A spokesperson for the Public Prosecution Authority (OM), says that the driver of the speedboat that crashed into a sloop on the Vinkeveense Plassen earlier this month was three times over the alcohol limit.
