Greetje Groenbroek, the mother of one of two soldiers killed in a mortar grenade explosion in Mali last year, plans to take legal action against the Ministry of Defense. On Thursday the Dutch Safety Board concluded that the grenades used in the UN mission in Mali were unsafe and that the medical treatment available to soldiers there is not in order.
Dutch campers club NKC launched a special hotline for customers after receiving reports that several people were threatened by camper companies after placing a bad review online. Some customers report being intimidated, threatened with lawsuits or even fines of up to 5 thousand euros, the Volkskrant reports.

The fifth day of the Bungehuis occupation has left the protesting students without heating but De Nieuwe Universiteit (The New University) and the University of Amsterdam (UvA) do not seem to be closer to reaching an agreement. The protesters in the Bungehuis took to Twitter on Tuesday evening, informing followers that their heating was cut off, but they are unperturbed by the cold treatment.
