The hardcore group of Ajax supporters, the F-Side, set off a bunch of fireworks outside the Van der Valk Hotel-Amstel in Amsterdam during the early hours of Wednesday morning. The goal was to keep the Juventus players, who are staying in the hotel, awake ahead of the big match against Ajax on Wednesday

"Welcome to Amsterdam", the F-Side wrote on Twitter, along with a video of the fireworks.

The paper reveals that 16 people who are or were tied to Ajax spoke of a culture of intimidation created by fans of the F-side, which is the old hard core, and VAK 410, the new hard core. Most threats are not reported to the police.

The former Oranje and Ajax goalkeeper sat with the family at the hospital where the 46-year-old fan lies in critical condition, according to the team.

A man who fell nearly five meters from the Amsterdam ArenA stands onto a concrete path on Tuesday is still in critical condition. The fan, a 46-year-old father, was sitting in the front row of the F-Side when he collapsed to the ground during the 39th minute of the Ajax-Barcelona Champions League match.
