Explosion damages Albert Heijn entrance in Dordrecht; No injuries reported

An explosion damaged the entrance of an Albert Heijn supermarket in Dordrecht early Saturday, Rijnmond reported.

The incident occurred on Admiraalsplein. Emergency services responded at around 2:40 a.m. after receiving reports of the blast.

The explosion caused visible damage to the store’s entrance, blackening the doors. No injuries were reported.

Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the explosion or who planted the device, and police continue their investigation.
