Two found dead in Amstelveen home

Two people were found dead in a home on Max Havelaarlaan in Amstelveen on Sunday night. Emergency services responded to the home after reports of a strange smell, the Telegraaf reports.

A spokesperson for the police told the newspaper that the two victims seemed to have died of natural causes. It is not yet clear how long the bodies lay in the home.

According to regional media, the fire department responded to the scene on Sunday evening and took carbon monoxide measurements. A short time later, an ambulance arrived.
