30 kg of Cocaine Seized at Schiphol
Investigators at Schiphol arrested seven people attempting to transport nearly 30 kilos of cocaine in their hand luggage. The drugs were seized by the Royal Marechaussee, a branch of the Dutch armed forces that handles security at the airport.

ar-old man from Hasselt, Belgium, and a 28-year-old from Schweinfurt, Germany were being watched by the Marechaussee Drugs Team when they arrived from South America.
The cocaine was discovered in the hand luggage of the men from Culemborg and Hasselt. Four more Dutch suspects were immediately arrested at the airport when they attempted to collect the drug shipment. They reside in Culemborg, Oss, and Schijndel, while one has no fixed address.
The suspects will be held for a minimum of 90 days as the investigation continues.
