Police free woman held against her will in Baarle-Nassau home; Man arrested

A police arrest team stormed a house on Voske in Baarle-Nassau on Monday night, freed a woman who was being held there against her will, and arrested a man, Omroep Brabant reported.

The woman was rescued from the residence where she had been kept captive. A police helicopter hovered over the house for a long time during the raid.

Neighbors told Omroep Brabant that the arrested man also lived in the house. According to the neighbors, he is a divorced car dealer who had been living there since September.

Investigators were still searching the home Tuesday morning.
