Man shot dead in basement box under Oss apartment complex

A man was shot dead in a basement box under an apartment building on Professor Regoustraat in Oss on Monday evening, Omroep Brabant reported. The police are investigating what happened.

A resident of the apartment complex called the emergency number at around 10:30 p.m., reporting hearing bangs. “It turned out to be gunshots,” a police spokeswoman told the regional broadcaster. Multiple shots were fired and several bullet holes were found in a window near the basement boxes.
