Police looking for teen on fat bike groping women in Deventer
The Overijssel police are looking for a teenager who has been groping women in Deventer from his fatbike. Over the past two months, at least six women have been accosted by the boy, the police said on Friday.
In five incidents, the teenager was on a fatbike. In one, he was on foot. “Because the women gave the same description of the perpetrator, we suspect that this is the same young man.”
The suspect is between the ages of 15 and 20, with a slim build and dark hair. He wore a black sweater with a hood in several incidents.
The police are looking for anyone who may know this boy. Investigators also asked locals to check their security cameras, doorbell cameras, and dash cams for possible footage of the suspect or attacks.
He struck on Rielerweg at around 9:30 p.m. on June 19, on Ossenweerdstraat at around 9:30 p.m. on June 24, on Nieuwe Plantsoen at 7:15 a.m. on June 25, on Zandweerdsweg at around 11:00 p.m. on June 25, on the Singel at 6:50 p.m. on July 17, and on Kapjeswelle at 10:30 a.m. on July 21.
The police also urged any other women accosted by this boy to come forward.
