Amsterdam restauranteur murder suspects seen in new CCTV image

The police released surveillance camera footage of the evening restaurant owner Ali Kaynak was murdered outside his Amsterdam restaurant in September on Opsporing Verzocht on Tuesday. The video shows Kaynak having a meeting in his restaurant, going outside and then being gunned down by two men.

The 48-year-old man was the founder of restaurant chain Halal Fried Chicken. He was gunned down in front of his restaurant on Burgemeester De Vlugtlaan on September 12th. The police believe that his murder is related to a series of intimidating incidents around Kaynak that preceded the shooting. His business was set on fire twice, and his companion was the target of an attack just before Kaynak's death.

As the police believe the same perpetrators are involved in all these incidents, the surveillance camera footage released also include footage of the other incidents. The authorities also offered a reward of 20 thousand euros for the tip that leads to the solving of this case.
