Dutch school scraps Paris trip after fatal Champs-Élysées shooting
The Sint Joriscollege in Eindhoven decided to cancel a school trip to Paris scheduled for Friday after another terrorist attack in the French city on Thursday evening. One police officer was killed and two others seriously injured in a shooting on the Champs Elysees that was claimed by terrorist organization ISIS, Omroep Brabant reports.
The Eindhoven school announced the decision to cancel the trip for HAVO 5 and VWO 6 students on social media and their website on Thursday night. The school called on students and parents to inform each other about the cancelation due to the "very short time frame".

Students from school community Overlaat were in Paris on Thursday, but left the city just before the attack. The school kept concerned parents informed on Facebook.
