Body found in search for missing woman

The police discovered a body in Ophemert on Thursday afternoon while searching for Emilia Maskiewicz, who went missing on Thursday, May 26th. The police could say nothing about the identity of the body. Only that the body was found on Bommelsestraat, the same street where Maskiewicz was last seen. The body was taken elsewhere to be examined. Forensic investigators performed an extensive trace evidence investigation at the scene were the body was found. Maskiewicz fiancee was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of involvement in her disappearance.
