Amsterdam boys, 10 & 12, arrested in robbery of 91-year-old woman

The police arrested two young boys in Amsterdam on Tuesday on suspicion of trying to mug a 91-year-old woman. The boys are 10 and 12 years old. The 91 year old woman was walking down Kramatplantsoen on December 6th when two boys tried to grab her bag. The woman fell and injured her face and hand. The police arrested the two boys on Tuesday after a tip from a witness. The 10-year-old was questioned and released. As criminal law only applies from the age of 12, the police can do nothing further against him. Youth care was informed about the incident. The 12-year-old is in custody and will be arraigned on Thursday.
