Video: 6 hurt when driver evading traffic smashes into bikers, taxi, bus

An impatient driver injured six people, including himself, in Rotterdam on Tuesday morning while trying to avoid a traffic jam. Around 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning the man, driving a silver Audi, got onto the bike path on the Ringdijk in an effort to avoid a traffic jam, RTV Rijnmond reports. He hit two bikers, one of them a 17 year old girl, and drove off. He then hit a minibus taxi at the crossing with Melanchtonweg and finally came to a stop against a RET bus. Both bikers, the taxi driver, two passengers of the bus and the impatient driver himself were injured. They were all taken to the hospital, where the driver was arrested. The police checked and found that the Audi was not stolen, according to the broadcaster.
