Three cops injured in violent arrest

Three police officers were injured while arresting an aggressive man in Amsterdam on Monday morning. Their injuries are not serious. The suspect was not hurt. The police received a report of a man acting aggressively in a supermarket on Jodenbreestraat around 10:30 a.m. The man harassed customers and assaulted the store's employees. When the officers arrived at the store, the man had already left in the direction of Nieuwmarkt. One of the supermarket's security guards left with the police to help find the suspect. They found the man sitting on a bench at the taxi stand on Nieuwmarkt. The man freaked out when the officers approached him. The officers managed to take him into custody after a struggle. Three officers were slightly injured and were treated in a hospital. The suspect was not hurt.
