Two men, aged 21 and 24, were sentenced to 137 days in prison for a fake attack on Zwolle rapper Makka. The two threatened Makka on the street with a firearm, but it later turned out that the attack was faked and arranged by the rapper himself, NOS reports.
On Wednesday the Public Prosecutor demanded prison sentences up to nine years against the nine men suspected of involvement in a failed attempt to hijack a helicopter and break gang leader Benaouf A. out of the prison in Roermond. The Amsterdam police deployed a special team to fight crime in and around the Red Light District. Over the past five days, this team made a total of 118 arrests, the police said on Facebook.

The police arrested six window cleaners in Santpoort-Noord after receiving a tip that a quarrel between two groups of several window cleaning teams may turn into an actual fight, the police report. The six grew increasingly violent over a debate about stealing customers, according to the report.
