A 34-year-old Dutch tourist died after being beaten up by a group of five young people near Palma on the Spanish island of Mallorca. The Spanish police are investigating this as a murder and are looking for the perpetrators, ANP reports.

The Dutch tourist was attacked and beaten unconscious near a petrol station to the north of the city's airport at around 5:00 a.m. on Friday. Emergency workers rushed the victim to the Academic Hospital Son Espases, where the he died of his injuries.

Dutch lawyer and former ABN Amro Commissioner Peter Wakkie was arrested in Spain, the local police confirmed to NOS. The arrest has to do with accusations against his business partner about paying bribes to members of the Russian government through the two's company Zed+, according to the broadcaster.

Several hundred passengers were evacuated from Eindhoven Airport on Tuesday morning after the discovery of an unattended bag. Dogs trained to sniff out explosives were deployed. The bag contained nothing suspicious and the airport was opened again, AD reports.

The evacuation did lead to delays for football team PSV, who was scheduled to travel to Madrid for a Champons League match against Atletico Madrid. Their plane was scheduled for departure 15 minutes after the evacuation ocurred.

Health and Sport minister Edith Schippers wants the management of Dutch football club PSV Eindhoven to help Spanish authorities to track down the football fans who spent time aggressively taunting people begging for change on the streets of Madrid last March. She renewed her request just 12 days before the team is set to return to the city to face Atletico Madrid on Nov. 23.

A number of Dutch ministers expressed their disgust at the behavior of a group of PSV fans in Madrid, Spain. Prime Minister Mark Rutte did so in person to his Spanish counterpart Mariano Rajoy in Brussels, where the two are attending a EU summit on an asylum agreement with Turkey.

The Prado Museum in Madrid, Spain decided not to lend two paintings to the Noordbrabants Museum in s-Hertogenbosch for its Hieronymus Bosch exhibition. The Prado Museum decided to go back on its agreement to lend the two paintings because it is furious that Dutch experts judged them to be replica's, instead of works done by Bosch himself

A KLM aircraft headed from Amsterdam to Madrid skidded onto the grass along the taxiway while readying for takeoff at Schiphol Airport Tuesday morning. There were no injuries amongst the 116 people onboard the Boeing 737.
