The Dutch police arrested a 28-year-old Dutch-Moroccan in Utrecht last week in connection with 17 ATM bombings committed in Germany. The man was arrested based on a European arrest warrant. An accomplice is still on the run, NOS reports.

It is believed that this man is part of the so-called - a gang of mostly Dutch criminals who commit ATM bombings across the border in Germany and speed away in fast stolen cars, mostly Audis.

Two school pupils from the Bonhoeffer College in Enschede were arrested by German anti-terrorism police during a field trip to Berlin last week, the school confirmed to NU.nl. They were released again after it was determined that the two boys were Dutch.

The German authorities arrested a Syrian man suspected of planning attacks in the Nehterlands, Geramany, France and Belgium, news wire AFP reports. The suspect texted terrorist group ISIS asking for 180 thousand euros to fund the attacks, German prosecutors said on Monday. 

The man was detained on Saturday and his apartment in Saarbucken was raided. He was formally arrested and charged on Sunday.
