Two boys arrested for sending threatening email to Almere secondary school

The police have arrested two boys on suspicion of threatening the Oostvaarders College in Almere. According to the police, the two minors sent a “serious email threat” to the secondary school, prompting an immediate investigation.

The arrested boys are from Dronten and Almere. They are in custody for questioning. The police did not disclose their ages or their connection to the school.

Oostvaarders College received the threatening email on Wednesday, the police said, without revealing the contents. According ot the police, there were no indications of immediate danger and the school could remain open.

Over 1,500 students attend Oostvaarders College.
