Man shot dead on Hague street; Police seek witnesses

A man was shot and killed on the street near the Zuyderpark in The Hague on Tuesday night. The police are looking for witnesses.

The shooting happened on Zwartsluisstraat at around 10:30 p.m. Emergency services responded in large numbers. First responders tried to resuscitate the victim, but it was to no avail. He died at the scene.

The police cordoned off the street and placed a tent over the victim, Omroep West reported. As far as is known, no arrests have been made.

Investigators asked witnesses to come forward. “It was busy in the area, so there were many witnesses,” a police spokesperson told NOS.
