Man stabbed to death on Vlissingen street; two arrested

A man was stabbed to death on Kasteelstraat in Vlissingen during the early hours of Wednesday morning. A 17-year-old boy and a 22-year-old woman were arrested as suspects, ANP reports.

The police found the victim wounded on the street. Attempts to resuscitate him were to no avail. He died at the scene. So far the police released no details about the victim's identity, as his family first has to be informed about what happened.

The two suspects were arrested in a home on the same street.

The police performed trace evidence investigations on the street and in the home.
