Bloody man leads police to six people tied up in Limburg warehouse

Six men were found tied up in the warehouse of a transport company in Susteren, Limburg on Tuesday night. The police were led to the warehouse by a blood covered man. Exactly what happened in the building, and why the six men were tied up, is not yet clear, NOS reports.

The blood-covered man showed up at a home on Baakhovenerweg at around 10:40 p.m. asking for help. Before arriving at the home, he had crashed a car with Polish license plates through the gate of the warehouse, according to the broadcaster. The car ended up in a meadow and the man could drive no further.

One of the residents of the home told 1Limburg that the man was suddenly standing in the garden. "The man stood bloody in front of our window. My girlfriend and I nearly died of fright." The residents called the police.

The man told the residents that someone wanted to hurt him, the police said in a statement. The police launched an investigation, and found the six tied up men in the warehouse on the same street. They were taken to a police station.

According to NOS, there are some reports that the men were living in the warehouse, but this has not been confirmed.

The police are investigating and call on witnesses to come forward.
