Three arrested in Paris Attacks near German/Dutch border

Update, 5:20 p.m., 17 November 2015: Broadcaster NOS reported that two others were also arrested in the region around Aachen, Germany on Tuesday afternoon. It is not known if they are connected to the other three arrests. Three suspects were arrested near the Dutch border with Germany in connection with the investigation into the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday night. The three suspects were taken into custody at an employment office in Alsdorf, about seven kilometers away from Kerkrade, Limburg, German newspaper Spiegel reported. A staff member at a discount retailer thought she recognized fugitive Salah Abdeslam with the group. The three are believed to be foreign nationals, and were identified as 29-year-old Kamal A., Iava M., 28, and Didem A., 32. The two women and one man were arrested as they left a job center. At about 1 p.m., a German police spokesman said they were working on a tip that one of the fugitives in the Paris attack could be staying near Aachen. A task force made the arrest. An investigation is ongoing, police said. https://twitter.com/RT_com/status/666593457436258304
