The school will have to hold its classes remotely for the time being, the GGD told news outlet 1Limburg on Friday, a day after the the infections were disclosed.

A suspicious letter was found in Maastricht on Wednesday, after two mail bombs exploded in Amsterdam and Kerkrade earlier in the day. There was no explosion in Maastricht, the Limburg police said on Twitter. Minister Sander Dekker for Legal Protection called the blasts "worrying". "As far as we can see now, there are no victims, no injuries. So that's great," he said to De Limburger. "For the rest, the police must investigate."

A burning car containing multiple jerrycans crashed into a police station in Kerkrade at around 5:00 a.m. on Friday morning. No one was injured, the Limburg police said on Twitter.
The incident happened at the police station on Kerkradersteenweg. The car crashed through the glass entrance of the station, according to RTL Nieuws. At least one jerrycan was on fire and the car may have been pushed into the station, a police spokesperson said to the broadcaster.
The fire was quickly extinguished. The jerrycans were filled with - presumably flammable - liquid.
The Limburg police discovered a massive drug lab in Kerkrade on Monday evening. This is the second largest drug lab ever found in the Netherlands, a spokesperson for the Limburg police said to NU.nl.

A warehouse filled with vintage cars was destroyed in a fire in Kerkrade, Limburg on Friday morning. The fire department has the fire under control and is working on extinguishing it, AD reports.
The fire started around 5:30 a.m. in the warehouse on Wiebachstraat, near Parkstad Limburg Stadium. The cause of the fire is still unknown. No one was injured. The fire also spread to an adjacent tile store, but firefighters managed to save its showroom.
Around 200 police officers raided a total of six properties connected to Satudarah on Wednesday night, including the outlaw motorcycle gang's clubhouse in Geleen. A total of five people were arrested, the police said in a statement.
