Groningen drug trafficking operation broken up; multiple arrests

The police in Groningen are raiding multiple locations in the province as part of two ongoing investigations into cannabis cultivation. According to the police, these actions are "aimed at seizing cannabis, money, valuables and administration". Some of the raids are taking place on the trailer park De Kring in Groningen. So far 5 people have been arrested and 16 locations have been searched. According to AD, the action day started at around 6:00 a.m. The police have found two cannabis plantations in the trailer park. The police are also searching locations outside the park with the help of special search teams of Defense.
