Police arrest two Rotterdam men after teen stabbed, shots fired in Delfshaven

Police arrested two men from Rotterdam, ages 18 and 22, last evening and overnight after a 17-year-old boy from Rotterdam was stabbed and shots were fired Saturday evening in the Delfshaven district, police reported Sunday.

The stabbing happened around 8:30 p.m. on Claes de Vrieselaan. The victim was taken to a hospital.

Police confirmed a firearm was used and gunshots were heard in the area at the time of the incident. It is not known whether the weapon was found.

Police are asking anyone with information, photos or video of the incident to come forward. Witnesses can call 0900-8844.
