Man critically injured in Vlaardingen stabbing; Two men arrested

A man was seriously injured in a stabbing inside a home in Vlaardingen, and police arrested two men in connection with the incident, authorities said Sunday.

According to Hart van Nederland, the victim was taken to a hospital Saturday after the stabbing at a residence on Claudius Civilislaan in Vlaardingen.

Officers detained two men following the attack. One of them is considered a suspect, while investigators are still determining the role of the second man and whether he was involved in the incident.

Video footage circulating after the arrest shows one of the detained men being required to take a breath test. Police have not confirmed whether alcohol played a role in the stabbing.
