Robbers steal cannabis from legal farm in Hellevoetsluis

Police are investigating a Sunday morning robbery at a legal cannabis cultivation facility in Hellevoetsluis, during which the thieves stole the production stock.

Authorities reported that employees were present at the farm at the time of the robbery, but no one was injured. “The stock was loaded into a white van, after which the perpetrators fled the scene,” a police spokesperson said.

The police suspect two individuals were involved. A spokesperson added that no detailed descriptions of the suspects are currently available.

The cannabis farm has previously caused tension in the neighborhood, with several residents complaining about odor issues.
