Chilly weather and showers today, also during Canal Parade in Amsterdam
The Netherlands is in for a chilly Saturday, with plenty of showers and maximums no higher than 20 degrees. Though there may be some periods of sunshine later in the day, according to Weeronline. That is exactly the weather picture for Pride Amsterdam’s Canal Parade on Saturday too - wet and chilly, though maybe some drier weather later in the day.
At noon, when the first boats in the parade start on the canal route, there will still be plenty of showers. During the afternoon, it will become drier from the west, with a bigger chance of sunshine. Maximums will climb to around 20 degrees, with a moderate northwesterly wind.
The rest of the country will look much the same, with heavy showers in the morning, moving away eastward in the afternoon. Many places will be dry and sunny on Saturday afternoon. “A moderate northwesterly wind will blow, fairly strong at sea, and temperatures will not exceed 20 degrees Celsius, thus maintaining fairly cool summer weather," Weeronline said.
