Disruptions at Amsterdam Zuid Station due to construction work
Train passengers traveling via Amsterdam Zuid should prepare for busier trains and crowded platforms in the coming days.
A revised timetable will be in effect from Saturday, January 18, through Tuesday, January 28, due to ongoing construction work. The changes will result in fewer trains and adjustments to departure tracks.
The Zuidasdok project organization has advised commuters to avoid traveling during peak hours or to work from home if possible. Additionally, construction activities may cause noise disturbances at the station. Workers are currently building a train platform to accommodate a new passenger passageway.
According to Zuidasdok, the construction will not impact car traffic, and Amsterdam Zuid will remain accessible throughout the work period.
