Oss school holding festive week for graduating class who missed camp over threat
The IKC Regenboog primary school in Oss has organized a festive week for its group 8 students. The graduating class’s school camp was canceled over threats. The school wants to ensure that they end their primary school period on a high note, Brabants Dagblad reported.
IKC Regenboog had to close last week and cancel the school camp for its graduating class due to threats. Photos of bullets with students’ names written on them were sent via social media.
The police traced the threat to a minor abroad and concluded that the students were not in danger. The school reopened on Thursday, but group 8 had already missed out on their school camp.
The school, therefore, decided to organize a week of festivities to give the graduating class a proper farewell. “They will do all kinds of fun things this week,” a spokesperson told the newspaper. “There are bouncy castles, they are going to do Expedition Robinson in nature for a day, they are going to the Efteling, and they are going swimming. It is a party for them all week.”
