Third suspect arrested for attack on Panorama building
A third suspect was arrested in connection with a rocket launcher being fired on the Panorama building in Amsterdam in June. The police believe this 45-year-old man from Spijkenisse was the person who fired the weapon, ANP reports.
The man was arrested on his way to work on Tuesday morning. He is in restricted custody, which means that he is only allowed contact with his lawyer.
On June 21st a rocket launcher was fired at the building on Teleportboulevard. No one was injured, but considerable damage was done to the building. A 41-year-old man from Woerden was arrested shortly afterwards. He was initially suspected of firing the rocket launcher, but that turned out not to be the case. He is still a suspect in this case, however. The 41-year-old man is a member of outlaw motorcycle club Caloh Wagoh Main Triad.
The suspect arrested on Tuesday is also a member of this motorcycle gang, according to the news wire.
A second suspect was arrested on July 9th. As far as is known, this 25-year-old man from Rotterdam is not a member of the Caloh Wagoh Main Triad.
