Tour bus crashes in Amsterdam, three injured

Multiple people were hurt when a tour bush crashed through a guardrail and into a tree on Gooiseweg in Amsterdam on Wednesday morning, the Amsterdam police said on Twitter.

Three people were taken to hospital, none of the other passengers were hurt, the fire department reports. All passengers were removed from the bus. No one got stuck. The unharmed passengers were taken to a nearby hotel.

According to RTL Nieuws, the tour bus came from Sweden and had 42 passengers on board. Het Parool reports that there are several people with broken bones.

The S112 road is closed in both directions while the bus is being salvaged.

The cause of the accident is not yet clear. The police are investigating.
