Holland's Got Talent finalist accused of child sex abuse, producing child porn
Lars de R., the now 25 years old guitarist who reached the finals in the talent show Holland's Got Talent in 2009, is accused of child sex abuse. He is suspected of abusing five children in the Netherlands and six in India, was revealed in a hearing in the Court of Alkmaar on Tuesday, the Telegraaf reports.
Lars de R. is accused of child sex abuse and production of child pornography. The Public Prosecutor believes he sexually abused children while giving them guitar lessons. Over the past years, De R. visited India several times, where he not only sexually abused young children, but also took pornographic photos of them, according to the Prosecutor.
The accused has been in custody for more than three months. His name appeared during an investigation on another abuse case. He was immediately arrested, especially because he was still giving guitar lessons to minors.
According to the Public Prosecutor he has been committing these crimes for many years, between 2009 and 2017, and there might be more children involved, not only in the Netherlands and in India. Justice has not yet succeeded in breaking into his computer. De R. claims he forgot his passwords.
