Motorcycle crash into house leaves one dead, one injured

A 20-year-old man has died after the driver of the motorcycle he was riding on crashed into a house early Sunday morning. The driver, 21, was also injured in the accident on Dorpsstraat in Riethoven, Noord-Brabant. His condition is not known, police said. A sample of his blood was taken as evidence to determine if he was intoxicated. His passenger was airlifted from the scene with injuries to his brain. He died in the hospital later Sunday morning, Dichtbij reported. Both men are from Valkenswaard, less than ten kilometers east of the accident scene. The pair were riding a three-wheeled Piaggio MP3 motorcycle at about 1:45 p.m. when they veered off a curve in the road. They then smashed through a fence before crashing into the house. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
